About the Item

Queen Anne scollop base candlestick. Seem cast two part cast brass candlestick shaft. The shaft supports a cylindrical candle cup with dished circular bobeshe. Below the cup is a suppressed knob on an inverted trumpet form, smaller knob and short waisted shaft. The candle shaft is peened to the circular raised dish, scolloped rim base. Birmingham, England, circa 1760.
