French or English cast bell metal candlestick, 1680-1720
About the Item
Solid cast bell metal brass candlestick with candle cup and beaded rim on a classic baluster, threaded to a circular rimmed drip pan on a raised octagonal base. The candle cup is drilled with an 'economy' boring for the removal of the candle stub. Probably Huguenot.
France or England, circa 1680-1720.
