About the Item

A beautiful and fine pair of French, circa 1840 Louis Philippe period, Louis XIV baroque revival style finely cast ormolu or fire-gilded solid bronze (bronze doré) candlesticks having original removable bobeches and engraved royal armorials or coat-of-arms on bases. Candlesticks are both stamped by unknown bronzesmith or foundry as pictured.
