About the Item

Here is a sculpture rather than a candleholder. Exceptional work by Pierre Casenove, 1980s, France. Executed in gilt and polychrome (gold, red, blue and green) enameled bronze in shape of a dove. Wear consistent with use and age. Unfortunately damage to gold layer to the base (please see the last image).
