Pair of elegant and decorative Art Noveau Candlesticks attributed to Carl Deffner, Germany 1900s.
Massive and heavy counterweight candlesticks. The candle holder and counterweight ball are screwed to the S-shaped stem flanked by two legs. The stem is made of solid brass. Counterweight and candle holder of coated copper. The chandeliers have patina, tarnished and show signs of wear on the finish. They have not been polished.
No manufacturer signature.
