Pair of Victorian Classical sterling silver low candlesticks. Made by Richard Hodd & Son in London in 1881. Each: Ovoid socket with bobeche on spool support mounted to stepped square base with scrolling leaves at corners. In low relief draped matrons bearing wreaths and olive branches. Beading and leaf-and-dart. Fully marked. Weighted.
