About the Item
An elegant pair of 24 karat gold and white fine porcelain candlesticks by the re known English firm of Royal Crown Derby. This elaborate design of adorned birds and peacocks is applied throughout the pieces. The Aves pattern was adapted from an embroidery pattern by one of their most famous painters: Albert Gregory. Aves is certainly designed to be a statement pattern and also showcases four figural dolphin bases. In very good vintage condition
