Practical size and highly decorative bronze candleholders.
If you are looking for a rare pair of antique, fine bronze candle holders than this attractive and highly decorative pair could be flying your way soon. The work that has gone into creating these beautiful quality and detailed candlesticks and their design immediately made us want to acquire them. Most people don't realize, but before these bronze candleholders can be cast several other steps in the process must be taken first. Firstly, an artisan will make several drawings/scatches of the entire candle holder, but also of the individual parts and their details. Secondly, perfect copies of the drawings have to be made in modeling clay by a sculptor. Thirdly, of these clay models, molds have to be made. Fourthly, the bronze is cast into the molds and mind you, the molds can only be used for a relatively small number of times for the details to remain good enough and visible. Fifthly, the cast bronze parts taken out of the molds will then have to be smoothened, polished and gilt. Finally all parts have to be put together to make the finish product which in this case are these stunning and now antique candleholders. If you know about the work that has gone into creating these antiques, their age and how well they have survived (also because of their quality), then this realization will help you understand and respect these antiques and truly appreciate them for what they are. They will look beautiful no matter where you decide to place them and with burning candles in them, the gold surface will make them even more impressive.
