Pair of English George III Period Drum Base Candlesticks

About the Item

An important pair of English George III candlesticks the ormolu-mounted blue glass drums decorated with neoclassical sense of faith, hope and charity with in oval borders the drums also decorated with stars and inter laced garlands surmounted by plain bead knurled ormolu mounts the dome knurled ring supporting egg shaped pieces surmounted by drop hung van dyke drip pans, and candle nozzles, all hung with chain pear shaped drops and double pointed four ways and finials.
