About the Item
Extremely rare Swiza table clock/alarm clock in the shape of the famous Swiss watch "Audemars Piquet Royal Oak" in steel with quartz movement.
Complete with its original box.
Audemars Piguet chose Royal Oak which derived from the name of a series of eight ships (remember that the bezel is octagonal) of the British Royal Navy which in turn took its name from the ancient oak (Royal Oak) dug inside which it hid King Charles II of England, in order to escape the Roundheads, who supported Parliament during the English Civil War, immediately following the Battle of Worcester in 1651.
