19th century Swedish birch mora clock
About the Item
19th century Swedish Mora longcase clock, circa 1850.
Presented in its original birch finish which has taken on a good patina. Naive hand painted enamel clock face with expected minor losses and rubbing.
Removable round hood and hinged door. Original weights and pendulum.
Later plinth, expected surface marks but we choose to sell this clock with its original patina. The movement will need to be professionally serviced for accurate time keeping, which we could undertake with a professional restorer at additional cost.
