Antique George III superior quality mahogany inlaid eight day longcase clock having a magnificent quality mahogany case with a pergola shaped top, pretty satinwood inlaid shells, satinwood and ebony inlay to the case, quality painted arched dial with original hands, second and date dials with an eight day movement striking on the hour and half hour on a bell, original weights and pendulum and standing on shaped bracket feet A showcase statement piece of the finest quality, the detail, colour, design and craftsmanship being superior Measures: H 225 x W 46 x D 25cm Date 1800.
