Gustavian white painted Longcase Clock Mathias Kullberg Stockholm 18th century

About the Item

Very decorative Swedish longcase clock from the Gustavian period painted in a cream white with giltwood decoration. The dial is signed by the Stockholm clockmaker Mathias Kullberg (1741 – 1799), who had his own workshop between circa 1775 until 1799. Finely carved flower sprays on the top, pierced gilt hands, original movement, glass, pendulum and weights.
