French Marble Figural Mantle Clock, Signed Hip Moreau

About the Item

Large French marble figural mantle clock. Hippolyte Francois Moreau (1832-1927) famous for bronze statuettes of young women. Son of Jean Baptiste Moreau. Female angel with her wings spread mounted on a red marble base. Ornate gilded metal mounts and details on the side. Hand painted porcelain dial. French foundry mark, Signed Hip Moreau, Made in France. Great Vintage condition, marble on circle piece broke off, some wear consistent with usage and age. Super Heavy. Dimensions: 28" tall x 11.25" depth x 18" wide.
