French Skeleton clock with Gothic style brass frame standing on a marquetry inlaid rosewood base with bun feet. Cherubs head pendulum bob, enamel dial with blue Roman numerals and original gilded trefoil hands. Eight day movement with outside countwheel strike on a silvered bell. c.1850

It has a waisted case with applied brass decoration and brass and tortoiseshell-style inlaid panels. The white enameled dial has fancy pierced brass hands and a beaded bezel.
