About the Item

A mantel clock in reddish- brown figured wood veneer with dore mounts in the baroque style. The dore dial with enamel numerals, the case with dore scrolled acanthus leaf frame with cartouche and floral crest. A glass cartouche on the front to view the works. Raised on paw front feet. Black painted wood backing. With a key for the works. The clock is missing the pendulum and the timing function is unknown. Dimensions: H. 22 3/4", W. 12", Depth 5" Condition: Please see detail photos. There is some tarnish to the dore, otherwise presenting well in a fine Baroque manner.
