Most unusually with gold leaf laid under tortoiseshell for a very rich golden colour to the tortoiseshell.
Convex white porcelain dial with blued steel spade hands and Roman hour numerals in black.
8 Day movement striking the hours and halves on a gong. Timekeeping regulated by a lever escapement.
