About the Item
Is this very iconic shaped Art Deco chrome & bakelite table clock made by the English Clockmakers 'Smiths' dating to 1930 the Art Deco period. Fully working and serviced by a qualified horologist. A superb Interiors piece perfect for a bedroom or lounge. The actual clock Is '8 Day' wind up made by 'Smiths' (Stamped Also On The Back') The face of the clock Is square with Art Deco style numbers & stamped '8 Day' 'Made In England' . The winder & hand movement all work well . The face shows some age related colour deterioration around the edge but we don't feel this is too distracting to be a negative point. Nice sized time piece, fully serviced and ready to be enjoyed.
