About the Item

Offered for your consideration is this high end, extremely good quality Art Deco German Alarm travel clock. A superb movement is house inside the case and is in excellent working condition, the alarm working as well having been recently and professionally serviced by a horologist. We believe the clock is most likely by Junghans but we can only attribute it as it's not marked. The curved round shouldered clock case is in highly polished chrome offering an almost mirror finish with raised numerals in a gold tone. Comes with its original silk lined leather case. This is a really classy clock, deceptively heavy for its size and would of been expensive to purchase in its day. No makers mark but DPRA a to the back. The "DRP" refers to a German patent, and is usually followed by a patent number. Here "DRPa," the "a" an abbreviation for "angemeldet," meaning "applied for".
