Large Kienzle Mid-Century GMT Heavy Brass World Time Zone Table Clock & Manual

About the Item

This large table or desk clock was made by the well known Kienzle clock company of Germany and dates to approximately 1970 and done in a Mid Century Modern style. The clock case is composed of heavy polished brass which accents the World map on the face of the clock and brass Roman numerals. The clock has a working quartz movement and a dial on the bottom of the face that demarcates the various time zones of World in relation to the set time. The clock stands on a brass pedestal base and is clearly signed on the face and back with the Kienzle maker's marks. The clock comes with its original manual written in German.
