    Located in New York, NY
    Victorian Era Quartersawn oak case with carved fan in arched waist door with beveled glass front, flanked by fluted barley-twist wooden columns and solid paneled sides. The base is also flanked by the same spiraled columns with bronze Corinthian capitals, egg and dart trim and acanthus leaf carved edge and claw feet. The bonnet with with matched columns, flanking arch top door, broken arch crest with rose rosette terminals, central replacement urn shaped finial. The clock case has original finish and measures 15" Deep x 26" Wide x 103" high. The face of the movement bears the renowned Jeweler’s emblem of Cowell & Hubbard, Cleveland, OH. Stamp on the inside of the door states "Charles W. Scofield June 12, 1890", the 9 tubular chimes...
