About the Item
Seiko super tanker slave clock original aqua marine green finish
A reclaimed and restored maritime slave clock.
These clocks were used in great numbers on super tankers, cargo ships and military vessels built during the 1970s and housed a movement that would be controlled by a master clock.
We have removed the old 24volt movement (which can only be used as part of the clock circuitry on ships) and replaced with a battery quartz movement featuring a sweep second hand which means the second hand glides and does not tick.
We can supply the original movement and hand set on request.
