1990s Flying Angel Wall Clock by Stanley Tigerman for Projects

About the Item

A Chicago native, a principal of the firm of Tigerman McCurry Architects, and one of the Chicago Seven pioneering postmodern architects, Stanley Tigerman's iconic buildings can be found all over the world and his work is found at the Metropolitan Museum in NYC, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Art Institute of Chicago. Tigerman's Flying Angel wall clock was produced by Projects in 1999. The clock's 3, 6, 9 and 12 and the ends of both the minute and hour hands are structures that are a replica of his personal barn turned home in Michigan. And the second hand has the flying angel on the end so the angel is constantly moving around in time. In very good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Signed on back. Takes a single AA battery. Measures: 13.75" x 13.75" x 1.75".
