About the Item
This advertising pend holder was produced by P.W. Baston, also known as Sebastian Miniatures, of the United States in approximately 1960 in the period Mid-Century Modern style. The figurine is composed of a glazed ceramic with a brass and plastic pen holder. The figurine depicts of business woman seated in a chair with her legs crossed, and is advertising for "Supp-Hose" stockings. The base reads "Gently Support Your Legs" and the back reads as advertised in Reader's Digest, with the year 1960 and the P.W. Baston signature. The base has a foil label for Sebastian Miniatures.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. There are two small chips on the elbow or shoulder area of the figurine where the pen holder has hit against it over the years. Some light wear to the base as presented in the photos and consistent with age and use. The pen is not working .
