Pair of Koi Fish Bookends
About the Item
This stylish set of Koi Form bookends date to 1962 and were fabricated by the Italian firm of Saca. The pieces are molded in terracotta with a hand painted glaze in colors of mottled grays, black and pink.
The pieces were sold imported by Ovington's of New York City (founded in 1846) and the piece has it original paper label on the verso (see images) and are marked 3-62 (see images).
