This round box is part of the "Hommage" (tribute) collection, a line of stationery and office accessories designed and hand-manufactured by Carole Serny, whose aesthetics highlights the textures of crafts. The patterns of canning, weaving, braiding or even straw marquetry are combined with a very clean formal language, akin to minimalism. The complete range consists of a set of a pencil case, a pencil holder, boxes and bookmarks.
Promoting French know-how and manufacturing, an exclusive attention is paid to each object, giving it a unique and lasting character.
Made to order and available in Sterling Silver, the pieces of Hommage collection are signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Made from noble materials, this round box is characterized by a sandblasted mat underside and interior finish. The canning pattern is hand-chiseled on the top of the box.
The pieces of the workshop are original creations and illustrate the know-how of a craftswoman. They are intended to accompany their owners for years to come. The marks, the patina or the scratches, which may appear over time, will illustrate this relationship and will constitute the additional soul specific to each creation.

Carole Serny
Carole Serny designs and manufactures by hand, using precious metals or cuprous metals, objects intended for interior design, decoration or the art of living. As certified craftswoman, she combines the techniques of silversmithing and chiseling to create unique or limited series pieces. Winner of the French 2020 Arts Crafts Young Creation Prize, her approach combines traditional know-how with a technical curiosity opened to experimentation and a contemporary aesthetic, at the border between art and craft, between sensitivity and rigor. Through many inspirations: nature, art, architecture, fashion, myths and legends or even mathematics, Carole Serny's goal is to achieve a fluidity, a clarity between the function, the form and the ornament of an object.
