Teign Valley Glass English Sculptural Art Glass Paperweight
About the Item
An unusual sculptural form English art glass paperweight made by Teign Valley Glass in Devon dating from the latter 20th or early 21st century. Founded in Devon in 1981 Teign Valley Glass is renowned for the quality of its artistic glass and this piece is no exception. The paperweight is of wheel shape with a hollow center and is supported on a small rounded clear glass foot. The weight is made predominantly in clear glass with a slightly rounded rim in a mottled orange colored glass with the center in green with a frosted glass surround all encased within the clear glass body. The base has an engraved TVG mark along with a makers monogram.
In good condition, small natural making bubble in the glass body.
