This fine antique sterling silver photograph frame has a rounded, subtly waisted shaped form with an oval internal window. The plain body of this Edwardian frame is encompassed with a paralleling embossed border accented with scrolling leaf and floral motif ornamentation to the upper portion. The rim of the internal window is embellished with a further plain embossed border. This frame retains the original oak wood back and hinged strut, securing with a swivel catch. Made up in a rectangular classic shape and carefully crafted in Florence Italy with a very strong and solid construction in .925/.999 sterling silver. Finished with very high polish and mounted with cedar wood parts. It is fitted at the reverse with one hinged retractable feet for stand and a tempered glass with beveled borders. Measurements: 233 mm by 284 mm (9.16 x 11.12 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the sterling silver assay mark and signed, "BVLGARI STERLING .925 *176FI".
