Large French Table Wall Picture Frame Red Faux Leather Art Deco 1940s MidCentury
About the Item
Rare french red and faint yellow to ivory color table picture frame, in the center with a typical 1950s grey and white pattern, can be dated from Art Deco period 1930s to Midcentury 1950s. The large and of good weight faux leather covered wood picture frame which also can be hung to the wall measures 37 cm / 14.57 inches tall, 31,5 cm / 12.40 inches wide and 5,5 cm / 2.17 inches deep. The reverse in brown color has 3 of 8 remaining small aluminum metal holder to open and to close the picture frame section, so 5 are absent, it holds and works with three, but it needs to mentioned for accuracy. The beautiful and rare picture frame stays in very good original vintage condition with minor characteristic wear consistent with age and use. It would be a perfect addition to a interior design by Jacques Adnet and Jules Leleu.
