About the Item

Michel Dumas for Roche Bobois designed this stunning Machine Age metal and Lucite picture frame. The rare photo frame was crafted in France circa 1960. The modernist industrial design boasts a geometric, chromed metal base holder with visible screws. The photographs are between two extra-thick Lucite slabs, one transparent and the other in copper smoke color. It is possible to position the frame in either a portrait or landscape orientation. It is reversible, which means one picture can be displayed on either side. There is no visible maker's mark. Please also check our storefront. We have the same model in a smaller dimension to build a matching pair. Dimensions: Overall: 7.50 in wide (19 cm) by 1.57 in deep (4 cm) by 12 in high (30.5 cm). Opening (picture size): 7.50 in wide (19 cm) by 10.44 in high (26.5 cm).
