About the Item
A lovely gilded brass and stone picture photo frame designed by Italian designer Rita Frascione, Firenze, in the 1980s.
The photo frame features a gilded metal framing with stone marquetry inlaid. The hard gemstones used are crystalline rocks like marble or travertine and Malachite. The piece boasts light and darker green, sand, beige, and gray colors. The back and easel are in red velvet with an engraved signature reading "Rita Frascione" visible on the brass hardware behind.
The frame is in excellent condition with no pronounced signs of wear.
