Brutalist Welded Iron Sculpture
About the Item
A striking Brutalist welded iron sculpture depicting an abstract geometric composition upon a tubular stem, above a rectangular base, in the manner of Herbert Ferber (American, 1906-1991). A great example of the brutalist design, reminiscent of Merriam Webster's definition of the style; "a style in art and especially architecture using exaggeration and distortion to create its effect (as of massiveness or power)."
Suited to a bookcase, credenza or wall unit. Beautifully aged and eye-catching.
