Contemporary ceramic tabletop sculpture hand-built of whiteware clay, and finished in a vibrant, glossy color-blocked glaze of deep purple and burgundy, topped by a pale violet and white ombré-like blend. A unique, hand-crafted decorative object that is perfectly suited for a tabletop, pedestal, mantle piece, or desk accessory.
Made by multidisciplinary artist Amadour, this piece, entitled "Braunton's Milk Vetch I", is the larger of a pair from the artist's series 'Wildflowers and Birds' (pieces sold individually; the second, smaller work is listed on our storefront).
About the Artist:
Amadour is a visual and musical artist who works with painting, sound, sculpture, and performance to investigate landscape, architectural forms, and our relationship as humans to built and natural environments. They received dual BA degrees in studio art and art history from the UCLA School of Arts and Architecture in 2018, and are based in Los Angeles, California.
