About the Item
This thick and heavy Murano sculpture, coming from the collection of Spinzi Milano, is a beautiful decorative piece obtained by casting and hand-melting a solid block of grey/greenish glass.
Perfect on a coffee table, sideboard or console table - and also useful as a double valet-tray thanks to the two "bowls", it's a wonderful and uncommon piece of Italian art, exuding all the skills and craftsmanship of Muranese creators.
It is hand-signed on the bottom, which reads "Murano 20-3-1976", indicating the production date of March 20, 1976, and is preserved in virtually untouched conditions. Only an expectable and pleasant patina of the time is visible throughout.
