Hand Built Brutalist Japanese Ceramic Sculpture by Takao Tomono

About the Item

Ceramic sculpture by Japanese American artist, Takao Tomono. The sculpture features a woven vase like shape with incised geometric detailing. Tomono was born in 1935 and created many of his pieces through the 1960's. Note this piece can not hold water. Dimensions 9” width x 5" depth x 22” height. Condition Good vintage condition.
