An amorphous and sensual early piece by Pioneer Wood Artist Mark Lindquist. Signed and dated '74 along one edge. A carved amorphous natural wood form with linear divisions and flat back. The wood with natural cracks and fissures. With wire for hanging on back.
This acclaimed wood turning artisan is represented in notable museums including the Smithsonian Institution and the MMA. He favors wood with natural fissures and irregularities.
Measures: height 16", wide 14", depth 6"
Condition: Very good with some expected stable age splits and nicks, presenting exceptionally well.
