Two solid materials are put in juxtaposition two function as a union. The stone held on top is a hand carved artificial stone with a bespoke concrete recipe. A tube with a rounded top, carved from solid aluminium is connected with a little connection piece to present a handpicked stone. The stone is equipped with a small aluminium pod to create a stable connection with the column. Vaust is a Berlin-based, award winning design studio working in the intersection of interior design, object design and creative direction. Our spatial design procedure covers various fields from residential and retail to hospitality and corporate spaces. We dedicate ourselves to unconventional thinking, distinctive aesthetics, artistic design, efficient planning and precise realization. Our object design procedure describes our creative take on one-of-a-kind items, studio own collections + projects as well as commissioned work. A new sphere emerges and is blurring the lines between furniture and art. We understand that sphere as our working basis.
