Seymour Sy Rosenwasser Abstract Sculpture c1999
About the Item
Sculptor Seymour F Rosenwasser (aka Sy Rosenwasser) is known for his abstract modernist work with plaster and bronze. This untitled abstract plaster piece flows up from the base then abruptly changes direction into a swirling organic movement finally extending upward. The carved design on the backside and the hole through the organic curvature give further character to the emotive expression.
Some scratches on the base exist where the sculpture was rotated on the base. There is some small yellow spotting on the plaster that could use a touch up as well as a small repair shown in grey that could use a touch up.
