Alfredo Zilch 1908 - 2003 . Studied at national school of fine arts under Mateo Saldana , German Gedovious and Diego Rivera . Officially appointed to found Taxco school of painting in 1930 . Described before his death by Sotheby's as " The most important living Mexican artist to date ."
