Tokonoma designed by Satoshi Itasaka. This work is made of wood vase and painted in Urushi Japanese traditional lacquer. Decorative object for Japanese traditional space called "Tokonoma" glossy finish. Tokonoma is small space for putting beautiful object installed in Classic Japanese room. Usually flower arrangement or hanging scroll are put. This unique object is contemporary interpretation for Tokonoma.
