Tria Wood Chair, Black Painted solid oak, Contemporary Design made in Italy
About the Item
Tria wood chair is the icon of our collection. It's a table chair, but many people use it as a sculpture for the ambience, in an entrance, a bedroom, in a living room, or in any corner of the house. It recalls the impossible forms of Dutch graphic artist and engraver Mauritz Escher, defining itself in a game of twists and elusive leak. The corolla-shaped shell can be used in two different seating positions, centre or side (right or left) for a better ergonomic. The shell is composed of three equal elements in bent plywood assembled together and veneered with a red stained ash. It is also available in veneered oak, natural or stained open pore in different colors, with a special finishing ivory/ black stripes, as well as customized colors (min. four units); If you like the shape and desire an artistic touch, our co-founder and artist Laura Macagno can make for you a handmade geometric decor on the chair. This version has four solid wood legs, but it is possible to have it with three solid wood legs (not suggested for table chairs), or four metal legs in different finishing, advisable if you really use the chair every day. For a better back comfort if you use Tria chair for dining or studying you can add back cushion upholstered and coated with a wide range of fabrics.

Cole Italia
“We love objects which own deep roots, excellent quality, and a strong evocative power”. Colé is a young Italian design brand, with a high-end production 100% made in Italy. Born from the experience of Matteo De Ponti, architect, who grew up in a historic Milanese design family, and the artistic sensibility of Laura Macagno, degree in Economics and passionate of art and design.
Our mission is to create design icons, suitable for furnishing the homes of sophisticated and international clients. Our expressive research is inspired by the Scandinavian design, the Bauhaus, the Italian architects of the '50s as well as ethnic handcraft, houses of famous writers of the XX century, suspended between present, past and future; the artists who wrote the code of modernity, as Mondrian, Sonia Delaunay, Moholy Nagy, Brancusi and the graphic genius of Escher. We love trips to far lands, starting from Argentina, Laura's birthplace, where our dream started. From there comes the name Colé, tied to a common memory: an element of color which makes us smile just thinking about it.
Customer can chose between:
- Colors: natural oak, white, black red or custom ral color (min. 4 pieces;
- Artist touch: handmade geometric painting upon request
- 3 or 4 solid wood legs; we suggest 4 for more stability.
- 4 metal legs: black; black chrome; gold
- an additional upholstered back cushion

- Contemporary Mirror, Handcrafted, Solid Wood Gold Painted, Mahogany, Canaletto WLocated in Meolo, Venezia“Because a reality wasn’t given to us and is not there; but we have to make it ourselves, if we want to be; and it will never be one for ever, but constant and infinitely changeable.” Luigi Pirandello – One, No One and One Hundred Thousand. Thanks to a particular interplay of points of view, when looking at Gengè – the furniture accessory designed by Matteo Vilardo and Marcello Marino per MEDULUM – it is only possible to scrutinise its image when looking from the right angle, while those looking from the outside will continue to see only the mask formed by the object. A collection of non-mirrors – at the same time highly unusual, spectacular and yet minimalist – which leads the observer to reflect on the topic of identity within contemporary society, spurring them not to stop their search for the masks which overlap between ourselves and reality. Thus, the ancient and extremely important...Category
