Art Deco Ceramic Chameleon by Hildo Krop


An enigmatic ceramic figurine sculpture designed by Hildo Krop and produced by pottery manufacture Eskaf with their signature green and metallic black glaze, circa 1920. Hildo Krop (1884-1970) was a prolific Dutch sculptor, potter, and designer of furniture in the organic style of the 'Amsterdam School'. His sculptures are on public display throughout Amsterdam and in numerous Dutch museum collections.
