About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown rainbow stripes, silver and gold flecks Italian art glass fish figurine. Attributed to the A.Ve.M. (Arte Vetraria Muranese) company. The fish has alternating bands of cobalt blue, red, green, yellow and orange stripes creating a unique pattern. It has heavy silver leaf on the inside and there is a clear glass layer over the design. The fish also has gold leaf on the eyes. The piece is held up by a clear glass base. Would make a great display piece on any desk, curio cabinet or side table. Use it as a paperweight, or display it up on a shelf as a sculpture. Mid-century era. Measures: 6 1/2" long x 2 1/4" wide x 3 3/8" high.
