Art Deco bulldog bookends by Franjou.
These bulldog bookends are both signed Franjou, they were made in France and date between 1920-1949.
These large French Bulldogs - English Bulldogs bookends are made of patinated metal, they have large expressive crossed glass eyes, they wear a collar and are mounted on a marble base.
These figural bookends with dogs - bulldog dogs are in good vintage condition with normal wear on the metal by age. The original eyes are still in, one has been broken in the past but was repaired. The marble bases are also still beautiful. 1 base has a minor chip under at a corner and a chip on the corner sideways. Do note that there is a little difference on the size and shape of the marble bases.
This large sized Bulldog Bookends will look great in your interior and at your bulldog collection.
