Early Staffordshire pearlware pair of deer Bocage figures, circa 1825. The charming pair of bocage figures depict a spotted red stag and deer facing each other. They Stand with bocage behind and on a hollow mound base naturalistically coloured green and brown. Dimensions: 6 1/2 inches high x 4 1/2 inches wide x 2 1/2 inches deep Tip of central bocage on one figure missing. Provenance: Private New York collection With Barbara Alpren antiques (1990).
