About the Item

Frog by Alcino Silversmith 1902 is a handcrafted piece in 925 sterling silver with green spherulite application in the back. The piece is totally handcrafted, hammered and chiseled by excellent craftsmen, giving this piece a much higher future valorization. Used techniques: Chiseling is the process of shaping a piece of material by carving or cutting away small pieces. It can be done with a variety of tools, but is most commonly associated with using a chisel. Throughout history, chiseling has been an essential part of sculpting and architecture. Today, chiseling is still widely used in both art and construction. One of the main benefits of chiseling is that it allows for a high degree of control over the final shape of the object being created. This means that complex shapes and detailed designs can be created using this technique. Additionally, chiseling can be used to create both smooth and textured surfaces, depending on the desired effect and piece. This animal sculpture is a unique piece due to the green spherulite being unique and the handmade processes. No two animals will never be the same. Green Spherulite is as an amazing mineral knowned for protection, tranquility, clearity on mind and home. Frog's are also associated with transformation and purity. And are also combine with good-luck and prosperity. This piece was handcrafted in our workshop in Porto, Portugal. It is all in Sterling silver 925, back with spherulite and the eyes are synthetic ruby stone. The finishing is oxidized. Sterling Silver 925 Weight: 575 grames.
