Large Sheep Sculpture by Hanns-Peter Krafft for Meier C. 1980's
About the Item
Designed by Hanns-Peter Krafft for Meier. This sheep is a playful interpretation of a stool, but also acts as a sculptural accent. Handmade in Germany, this piece has a beautiful patina throughout; wood has darkened beautifully, leather shows just the right amount of wear, fur has a uniform appearance with wear most apparent to its neck and back.
Wood legs are firm with no breaks, cracks, or other large imperfections. Hand painted accents are all in good condition. Fur has settled and lower in areas of high wear, especially on seam running center of back. Fur loss on back of neck is most apparent with some holes in fabric. Vegetable tanned leather ears have some staining and patina, but still mostly flexible to the touch with a few breaks to the left ear
