Late 19th century German pug dog. Heavy terracotta with brown carmel color glaze.
Seated, with the head turned, in active pose. Good confirmation and details of the face, ears, coiled tail with a bold collar. The base in the form of a cushion with a corded braid trim.
The base as in the overall construction is a combination of cast and hand modeled detail.
Will stand guard indoors or outdoors unfazed.
