Patinated Cast Bronze Sculpture Of A Greyhound After Jules-Edmond Masson

About the Item

Patinated cast bronze of a greyhound or greyhound crossbreed (lurcher) dog was originally done by French sculptor Jules-Edmond Masson (1871-1932), well known for his figurative and animal sculptures. Mounted on a oval green marble plinth with a brass plaque. Signed “Masson” on mound base. Dimensions: 19" L, 8 1/2" W x 20 3/4" H Condition: Please see detail photos. Various signs of age include a scrape on left hind leg, scratch to right hind leg, minor wear to patina which do not detract from the refined presentation.
