Seguso Murano Green Gold Flecks Italian Art Glass Standing Duck Bird Figurine
About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown green and gold flecks Italian art glass duck bird figurine / sculpture. Attributed to Archimede Seguso / Seguso Vetri D’ Arte. The bird is made with an inner layer of white, with green outer layer, and gold leaf over that. The bird has a long body and beak, and is profusely covered in gold leaf throughout. Would make a great display piece on any desk or curio cabinet. Mid-century era. Measures 5 3/4” tall x 2 3/4” long x 2" wide.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. For accuracy, 1 of the wings is polished at the very tip so it can stand flush to the surface and not wobble. I am sure this was done on purpose at the gallery, and not after damage. You can feel it more than see it.
